If you’re a Google Analytics user, there must be some data that you are required to check out on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. However, not all data are that easily extracted from Google Analytics. You have to dig deeper, and after several clicks, you get the data of your relevance, which is really time consuming, and frustrating as well. Google Analytics Dashboards comes with a number of widgets, that you can create and customize based on what you consider a decisive data for your business insights. Apart from the important data that varies from business to business, there are some dashboards that you must have in order to improve your further strategy and aquire a larger customer base. Here, I am sharing some ready to use Google Analytics Dashboards templates, that you can directly incorporate into your Google Analytics Account.

1. Sessions & Goals

3. Social Sessions and Goals

Social Media Traffic is an equally important source of traffic as Organic is. What if Google penalizes your website tomorrow, and all of a sudden you stop getting any organic traffic to your website. As an Inbound Marketer, I would never put all my eggs in one basket, and that’s why equal importance should be given to Social Media Traffic and conversions. Implementing this dashboard will make your life much easier when it comes to tracking your Social channels performance.

4. Demographic Insights

Apart from traffic coming from all the sources, one should be aware of what kind of users are coming to your website, in terms of age group, gender group and device type. This would help you in targetting the right audience for your future campaigns, and junk out the irrelevant ones.

5. Monthly Comparisons of Goals and Sessions

This is my favourite. You need to have a visual sense of how you are improving month over month, and devise your strategies accordingly. With this dashboard, you can compare the overall number of sessions, goal completions month over month. In another widget, you can compare these metrics across various channels, to get a sense which channel is improving and which one needs improvement.

6. Site Performance Dashboard

As an analyst, one should be aware of the issues, if any with the website’s performance.

A higher page load time drives away a visitor, resulting in higher bounce rate, and ultimately lower conversions.

This dashboard brings a number of useful analytics regarding your site’s average page load time, segmented by load time across devices, popular landing pages and average server response time. A must have dashboard to review if your website, or a page needs improvement.
